Privacy notice for workers

Paunawa sa privacy para sa mga manggagawa · Last updated 26 October 2026

Your employer or agency uses Payslip.ph to compute and pay your salary and to file what the law requires with the BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and DOLE. This notice explains what the system keeps about you.

What is kept

  • Your name, birthdate, sex, civil status and contact details.
  • Your employment: position, post or department, dates, pay rate, schedule and attendance.
  • Your pay: payslips, deductions, loans, leave, 13th month and final pay.
  • Your government numbers (TIN, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and, if you are paid through a bank or e-wallet, your account number. These are encrypted and shown masked; every time a staff member views or exports them it is recorded.
  • Documents your agency uploads about you, such as your contract, clearances and licenses.

Why

Because your employer must compute your pay correctly, remit your contributions and taxes, give you payslips, and keep employment records as the Labor Code, the Tax Code and the social legislation require. Your agency is the personal information controller; Payslip.ph ([Operator legal name]) processes the data on its behalf.

Who sees it

Your agency's authorized HR and payroll staff; the government agencies that receive the files the law requires; the bank your pay goes through; and the providers that run Payslip.ph (hosting, email, storage), who are bound to protect it. Nobody sells or markets with your data.

Your rights

You may ask your agency to see, correct or explain your records, and to object to processing that is not required by law. If your agency has given you self-service access, you can see your payslips, contributions and BIR Form 2316 yourself. You may raise concerns with your agency, with our Data Protection Officer at privacy@payslip.ph, or with the National Privacy Commission.

How long

For as long as you are employed and for the retention period the law sets afterwards (at least three years for payroll records; ten years for tax records).
